2020 has been a year. We’re getting close to the end though. I’m hoping that 2021 is better. But, it can only be better if people are better.
With that being said, we’re getting into the fall season. My favorite time of the year is approaching. *cough cough* CHRISTMAS! I can’t wait to switch the fall leaves to snow flakes. (I like to pretend I live in a place where it snows.)
I’m one of the few who still had to work through this pandemic. I only missed about a month of work. I have been limiting going out to do things. I don’t want to get sick and I don’t want to possibly carry it to someone else who could get sick.
Thank you Nikki for tagging me to do this! I’m honestly not going to tag anyone to do this tag because I don’t know 5+ people…. 😐 If you want to do this tag, go ahead! Leave your link in the comments below so I can check it out 🙂

What are you currently reading?
I’m physically reading Tell Me Lies by Carola Lovering. This book is taking me a while to get through. I know it’s probably because it’s not an easy read. Stephen is a hard person to read about and I just really hate him.
What is your favorite “can’t leave the house” activity?
Reading! I know that answer is a given as everyone knows I love to read. Since the pandemic, I have found myself read a lot more than I normally do. I’m almost at 100 books for the year! This is the most I have ever read in a year 😊
What is a book you have been meaning to read forever?
Anything by Jay Kristoff. I feel like he’s an author that is super hyped and I have yet to pick up one of his books! I have tried to read Nevernight once. I put it down for a minute because the footnotes were driving me bonkers! I do plan on trying it again in the future.
What is an intimidating book on your TBR?
The Name Of The Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. This book is a behemoth. Not really, but I honestly am so scared that I’m not going to enjoy this book. I have heard mixed reviews on this one. I’m hoping I fall into the group that likes this book.
What are your three top-priority books on your TBR?
I honestly don’t have “top-priority” books. There are certain books that I get so excited to read that I don’t even wait to put them in my app for it to choose for me. The Invisible Life Of Addie LaRue is definitely one of these books. I can’t wait for that book to be released and I can’t wait to dig into it.
Recommend a short book!
Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell! This is a great fall book and it’s fall time now. What a great time to read it!
Recommend a long book!
The Priory Of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon. This book is so beautiful. It’s so well written and addictive. Don’t be scared to pick it up because of it’s size. Just listen to the audiobook while following along!
What do you plan on reading next?
Who knows? Whatever my app chooses for me 😀
